Learner Information
To join our courses you need no experience in the arts or any formal qualifications. By taking part in Streets Alive courses you can learn about acting, drama, movement, running drama workshops and stage management, as well as improve your communications skills and increase your self –esteem. Or come along even if you just feel like trying something new! Most of our courses are Open College Network accredited, up to level 3. Many young people who have been to our courses want to continue to study drama in further education colleges or university, but we offer support to suit each individual’s needs, whether that might involve other studies, gaining work experience, finding employment, volunteering or creating contacts in the theatre scene.
We offer student support services, career guidance, financial help with travel, lunch money and childcare support. And on top of that, all of our courses for young people are free!
